Competitive

I really enjoy the core gameplay of Rematch on PS5, but right now the competitive side of the game feels too limited and not rewarding enough for players who want to grind and improve.

At the moment, there are very few truly competitive game modes, and scoring goals or winning matches doesn’t feel rewarding enough. After many games, progression starts to feel repetitive because there aren’t enough meaningful rewards, ranked incentives, or competitive objectives to chase.

Here are some suggestions that could greatly improve the experience:

- Add more competitive modes:
- Ranked tournaments
- Weekend competitive events
- Solo queue ranked mode
- Club/team ranked ladders
- Seasonal cups with exclusive rewards

- Improve rewards for performance:
- Better rewards for goals, assists, MVPs, clean sheets, and win streaks
- Exclusive cosmetics for high-ranked players
- Seasonal badges, banners, animations, or stadium customizations
- More progression systems tied to skill and consistency

- Add long-term progression:
- Seasonal divisions/leagues
- Leaderboards
- Prestige system
- Challenges based on skill, not only playtime

The gameplay itself has huge potential, but competitive players need more reasons to stay engaged long-term. Right now it feels like the game lacks depth outside of simply playing matches over and over again.

I hope the developers consider expanding the competitive ecosystem because Rematch could become something really special with the right updates.
