STAMINA MANAGEMENT AND CROSSING

I have more than 250 hours in Rematch, I’ve reached Elite in every season so far, and the current state of the game is honestly pathetic.

Whenever you’re not sprinting, your stamina is constantly regenerating. Considering that any action in the game requires basically 0.00001% stamina, it means that as long as you stop running for a second, you can instantly perform another move. This makes me believe the devs themselves are ruining the game with this mechanic.

Instead of football being a team-based game where you need to pass the ball and create plays together, in Rematch all you need to do is spin your mouse and press CTRL + Space. As long as you’re not sprinting, it works every single time. This creates a playstyle where NOT passing the ball is actually more effective than building team plays.

IN A FOOTBALL GAME.

I understand that dribbling is part of football and the game should absolutely have dribbles, but they should not be infinite. Below I’m leaving a Youtube link with a timestamp showing exactly what I mean.

I believe dribbling should require a minimum stamina threshold, and if the player’s stamina is below that value, the dribble simply shouldn’t activate. Because at the end of the day. No teamplay, no players. The metric is simple.

Another frustrating mechanic is shooting used as crossing. If you press F on PC, which is supposed to be the cross button, it behaves exactly as it should. The player who is better positioned and in front has priority.

But in Rematch, as long as you shoot instead of pressing F, your teammate gets priority no matter what regardless of positioning, even if four defenders are in a better spot.

Which makes two mechanics basically useless.

Crossing with F (even though it still works as a lofted pass)
Heading, which never gets any priority compared to volleys
