Turkey Server & Nations Cup Balance Feedback
I am writing this in the hope that someone from the Rematch team sees it and considers it seriously.
As players from Turkey, we are trying to support our country in Europe with high ping, while some countries have dedicated servers and others do not. Playing with delay is frustrating and often makes matches feel unfair. Many times, it looks like the opponent did not reach the ball, but we still get tackled or lose possession because of the delay. This really takes away from the fun.
I used to play for hours, but now I can barely play for one hour before getting annoyed by the ping. Are there any plans to bring dedicated servers for Turkey, or at least improve server routing and matchmaking for Turkish players?
I also want to give feedback about the Nations Cup system. The idea is great and enjoyable, but countries with much larger player bases have a huge natural advantage. Even if each player only plays a few matches, they can create a massive gap. This makes the competition feel more about active player count than actual performance.
Maybe country score contribution could be adjusted based on active participation. For example, if a country has a very high number of active players, the points added to the national ranking could be divided by a higher value. If participation drops, it could return closer to normal. This would make the competition fairer for both large and smaller communities.
The catch-up bonus also feels too weak. In 4-country groups, it seems to help the bottom two countries more, while 2nd place still cannot realistically catch 1st place. In my opinion, the bonus should be based on the actual point gap, not only ranking position.
I really like the Nations Cup concept, but high ping and scoring imbalance can make it frustrating instead of exciting. I hope the team considers regional server improvements, better ping-based matchmaking, and a fairer scoring system based on active participation.
