Placement Games don't do anything at all
I ranked Elite every single season of the game so far. I won 4/5 of my placement matches for season 4 and got placed in Platinum. Someone else on the Discord lost 3 of their placement games and got Diamond. Why even make anyone do placement games if they do not matter?

Torin MergedI played 5 places matches with a full stack of 5 players. Out of 5 games we won all five. One player got Master, another platinum and yet I received Bronze 1. I am incredibly frustrated by this, as I had two mvps during the placement matches so it cannot be down to performance. If this persists it would discourage me from playing a game that I would consider one of my favourites at the moment.

anonymousExact same situation as Torin, played all 5 of my placements with the same players. I was top or second to top score every game. I placed bronze 2, my teammates placed Diamond 1, Diamond 3, Plat 1, and Gold 2. From what I've found the max RP change is 3. To simply get out of bronze with my teammates we have to push the top rank into Elite. With 100 RP points in each rank the difference is so insignificant I have to push 2 of my teammates into the highest rank in the game before I get gold...
